If your little one loves nail polish and pretends to be at a salon as much as our little girl does, then this is a perfect post for you. Here is how to make kid’s nail polish at home with only two ingredients.
This kid’s nail polish is super easy to make. You only need school glue and washable paint. If you are familiar with the store-bought kid’s nail polish, then you know this type of nail polish is not permanent. It stays on for a few hours (or minutes if your kid is the type that likes to peel it off as soon as it dries). The thinner you apply it, the longer it will last.
Make any color nail polish you want. It is 100 percent customizable. To take it up a notch, you can add glitter on top of each nail before it dries or make a label for each bottle.
Materials to make kid’s nail polish
Instructions
- Add 1 tsp. of school glue and 1/2 tsp. of paint into a piping bag. Try to place the paint and glue as close to the tip as you can. Close the bag and mix from the outside with your fingers until all the marbling is gone. My nail polish bottles are small, double the recipe if you are using a bigger size bottle.
- Cut the tip of the bag and pour the mixture into the nail polish bottle. Repeat the steps to create more colors. Done!
