Use this homeschool schedule to plan your school day. Once you have assembled all the subjects and activities, your little kid(s) can help you put it together and it will help keep them on track throughout the day.

We are in the third week of distance learning. It hasn’t always been easy, but the kids and I have learned and experienced many great things. The walls are filled with learning posters and the kids sing educational songs throughout the day. I love that we get to have snacks and lunch together. Grandma has been with us every day and has been a huge help and my kids have bonded and play together all the time.

One thing I’ve learned in my short time teaching from home is that I don’t have awesome patience skills, but I sure try! My preschooler forgets the letter of the day minutes after we made a craft about it, traced it, and even sang about it! My first grader’s head constantly has to be redirected to the monitor where his awesome teacher is explaining the day’s lesson. We are all adjusting to the new routine.

Last week we had a particularly long day. We were almost done with work, and I looked out the window, and it was starting to get dark. I realized we had been working for 10 hours! Our curriculum is intense, but it should only take about 4 – 5 hours. After realizing this, my son and I agreed on a reasonable amount of time to spend on each subject, and I made this editable homeschool schedule with pictures to remind us of what we need to do and keep us on track.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Download and print the homeschool schedule.
  2. Print the sample schedule or create your own, then laminate.
  3. To make things quicker, cut the subjects into strips and arrange them in a laminating sheet. I was able to fit three per page. Then, cut each little subject after it has been laminated.
  4. Use adhesive fasteners to attach your subjects and activities to your homeschool schedule.

Not all days go according to plan, but we continue to try. If you find yourself on the same boat, I hope this little Homeschool Schedule helps you and your little kids stay on track.

Below are some cute designs I found on Etsy that use pictures as well.
