Yummy and Smooth Paleo Caramel Sauce
This paleo caramel sauce is made with maple sugar, dairy-free ingredients, and a hint of salt. Yum!
Use a blender to pulverize the maple sugar to a powdered sugar consistency. If you skip this step, the caramel sauce will be grainy.
Place powder maple sugar, half & half, butter, and salt in a saucepan. Keep the temperature at medium-low and use a wooden spoon to stir the ingredients.
Once the butter melts, change the temperature to simmer or low. Keep it at that temperature for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into a mason jar.
Keep the caramel sauce in the fridge. The consistency will remain smooth and ready to drizzle.
