How to Assemble a Mother’s Day Gift Basket & Spa Party
I have created a Mother’s Day basket that you can put together to gift or turn into a Mother’s Day Spa Party.
Spa Gift Basket
First, gather a few products to create your spa basket. I like to use natural products as much as possible, so I went on the hunt for new products that fit the description, and these are my picks;
Products
- Youth To The People – Spirulina + Microalgae Kale Spinach Mask – I picked this product because it eats away all the impurities in your skin. It’s suitable for all skins, so you can easily share it with your gals.
- Herbivore Botanical – Hydrate + Glow Natural Skincare
- Jade Roller – This is my new favorite beauty routine gadget! It helps with circulation, fine lines, and lymphatic drainage. Plus, Jade is a stone said to bring all kinds of good vibes and peace to the body. I am all for that!
- DIY Sugar Scrub – See recipe below.
- Bite Beauty Agave Nighttime Lip Therapy – This lip balm leaves the lips juicy and beautiful. It stays on for a long time too.
- OUAI Hair and Body Shine Mist – I love this all-in-one product. Apply it to your hair and body to get a dewy glow. Plus, it has a pleasant smell, so you can skip the perfume and apply this instead when you are running out the door.
- Rosé wine – Because, Duh!.
- Mini mirror
- Small dish
- Washcloths
- Mini craft sticks – To share the products without contaminating them.
Now, you can gift all these products to yourself or a lucky Mama, but I am into parties. So, I would highly suggest you try a spa party instead.
I know moms are busy, but we still manage to make it to every kid party, practice, and rehearsal, so send an Evite to your fellow Mamas and make this spa party nonnegotiable.
I also believe that you don’t need a lot of people to have a party, so keep it small and simple so you can enjoy it too.
Cozy space
To create a relaxing space, place a bowl of water for each guest. Add flower petals or river rocks to the water. Provide two small washcloths, one to soak and remove the mask and a second one to dry off.
Also helpful to have – a small bowl, wood sticks to share the products, a hair tie, and a small mirror.
Treat yo self
While you wait for the mask to do its magic, treat yourself and your guest to a glass of Rose or water infused with lemon and cucumber slices.
Keep the snacks light. Cucumber sandwiches and yogurt are refreshing options.
Also, use simple flowers and green foliage to decorate each space.
Moisturize
Remove the mask and apply the moisturizer.
Now, here comes the best part, show your guest how to use the jade roller all over the face. The jade feels like a massage, and the cool stone it’s such a treat.
DIY scrub
After the mask, the snacks, and the jade roller massage, use a homemade sugar scrub on the lips and hands. Make enough for each Mama to take home in a little mason jar.
Limoncello Lip & Hand Scrub
Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup coconut oil
- Lemon essential Oil
Instructions
- Mix sugar and coconut oil.
- Add drops of lemon essential oil. I use 10 - 15; however, this might be too much for you. So add five drops at a time until you reach the desired concentration.
Glow
Finish off by applying the lip balm and then the OUAI mist to hair and body. ?
