Easter Sunday is coming up, and I was able to get a few gifts and candy for my kids before we were quarantine. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to get much for our dog, Spaghetti. I am sure he won’t hold it against me but want to fill an Easter basket for him too. He is our sweet cuddle bug, and we love him so much. He also finds the eggs amusing, so I think it is safer if I have him chew on his treats instead of seeing him chew on the kids’ candy and toys.
While looking for homemade dog biscuit recipes online. I noticed that most are made with enriched white flour and peanut butter. I found this kind of interesting considering enriched white flour is not very nutritious and many families donât buy peanut butter due to allergies. We donât have peanut allergies at home, but I buy peanut-free products because most schools are peanut-free, so itâs easier for me to avoid it.
So, with that in mind, I searched for some healthy ingredient options and decided to use oatmeal, banana, and egg. This recipe is super quick, and it’s great for shape biscuits too. So get out your bone or Easter cookie cutters it’s time to make some dog biscuits.
