This new school year is very special to me because my son is starting kindergarten, and my daughter is going to preschool. I know back to school is usually hectic and full of to-do lists, but I want to pause for a moment and celebrate these milestones. Plus, I like to party and use any excuse to do so.

Decor
Let’s begin with the balloon backdrop. Because this little party would not be as cute without all the color. Here is the step-by-step tutorial to make your own.
Most of the little details are things I picked up from bullseyes playground at Target and the back to school area. I am a big fan of decorating the party table with useful things that you can keep and reuse instead of one-time decor that you throw away. The little plants are very versatile, and the crayons fill the gaps to add color.

Use ribbon to tie the crayons and add even more color to the kid’s table.
Activities
I love marking new milestones or moments with books. So, I used the Printable Back to School Placemat design to wrap books. School supplies are small, so this wrapping paper is also perfect for wrapping any back to school surprise. Finally, use ribbon and a gift tag to complete the look.
