Rose + Lavender + Vanilla Bath Bombs
I am welcoming the spring with these Rose, Lavender, and Vanilla Bath bombs.
Here is the recipe, so you can treat yourself too.
Ingredients
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 cup epsom salt
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp Lavender + 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baby bubble bath
- Pink food coloring gel
- Witch Hazel ( in a Spray Bottle)
- Rose Buds
- Disposable gloves
Mix Dry Ingredients
First, in a large mixing bowl place baking soda, citric acid, corn starch, and Epsom salt. Mix.
The Epsom salt I buy is pink Himalayan Epsom salt infused with bergamot and sweet orange essential oils. I love the smell and sometimes I use it as is. You can use regular Epsom salt or infused Epsom salt, I’ll let that be your choice
Mix Wet Ingredients
First, melt coconut oil.
After, place coconut oil, and essential oils in a medium mixing bowl.
Combine
At this time, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until t
Divide
Now, divide the mixture into two bowls.
Then, add the baby bubble bath to one bowl and pink food coloring gel into another bowl and mix.
Next, use the witch hazel spray bottle to moisten the ingredients. 15 – 20 sprays in each bowl should be enough. Work in 5 spray intervals. If you use too much liquid, you will activate all the mixture.
Grab a hand full of the mixture and squeeze. The mixture should clump into one piece. If it crumbles, spray more witch hazel.
Mold
Now, place some rose buds in the bottom of one of the bath bomb molds.
Then, top each mold with the baby bubble bath mixture. Use your thumbs to press and mold them, leave an indentation in the middle for the second mixture.
After, fill the gaps with the pink mixture (the one that doesn’t have baby bubble bath)
Lastly, press both molds together to form one bath bomb ball â dry overnight.
Enjoy
The fragrance of this Rose + Lavender + Vanilla Bath Bomb is sweet and delicious.
Also, this is a fizzy and foamy recipe. It is one of my favorites, so I hope you enjoy it as well.
Finally, make extra to share with your friends or send them the link to this post. LOL
