Below is a recipe for a single mudslide, and a second recipe to make a batch of cocktail pouches to keep in the freezer. Is never wrong to be prepared. All the ingredients in this cocktail might make you think that this drink is too sweet, but I promise you it’s not. The strawberry ice cream gives this cocktail just a touch of sweetness to counter the alcohol. You might even forget you are drinking a cocktail, so be careful. I should note that the Strawberry & Cream Baileys bottle I have says “limited edition” I hope they don’t discontinue it. I purchased mine at Target.

If you like this recipe and like to share, then make a batch of cocktail pouches and freeze them for when your friends come over. Last year, for our fourth of July party, I served classic mudslides on freezer-friendly pouches, and they were a hit! The kids got cold popsicles, and the grownups received a different type of frozen treat.

I should note that the pouches hold a good amount of liquid, and for that reason, I only add one cup of any cocktail recipe to each pouch. The goal is to enjoy and remember this drink, not to add it to your blacklist of blackout drinks to avoid.

CUSTOMIZE

Lastly, use washi tape or stickers to customize each pouch. Make each bag a little different from the others; that way, your guest can tell which one belongs to them.
I should note that the stickers I use are printed on transparent plastic sheets. I am not sure if paper stickers will hold up to the moisture. Attach a colorful straw to each bag, pass around and enjoy! Find more recipes here.
