How to Make Fun and Healthy Easter Breakfast Baskets for Kids
Start Easter day with these fun and healthy Easter breakfast baskets. Let the kids decorate the eggs with markers and stickers while they eat some fresh fruit.
This breakfast option is a good alternative to pancakes and waffles. Easter is usually a busy and long day for us. We tend to eat more sugar on this day, so I thought it would be better if the kids start the day with some protein.
Luckily, our kids like hard-boiled eggs. For a while, we weren’t sure if they liked eating the egg or just cracking it. Now we know they enjoy both things. This is a better option than bunny pancakes because when they start the day with sugary meals, they act coo coo bananas! (as they would say). Plus, it is a big deal for the little ones to decorate eggs, so this is a fun breakfast option.
Easter Breakfast Baskets
To assemble these Easter breakfast baskets, you need little wooden baskets, bamboo towels (or paper towels), hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, washable markers, stickers. You can decorate the basket with a few flowers if you want to be extra fancy.
Place a few towels at the bottom of the wooden basket and place a few hard-boiled eggs in. Then cover the rest of the basket with your favorite fruit.
On the side, place a few washable markers, stickers, and self-adhesive googly eyes. Don’t use bubbly stickers. The bubbly stickers fall easily, and you don’t want your kiddo to eat them.
