Here is Hoppy Easter Party that is full of color, and it is very easy to replicate. Grab your party supplies and let’s decorate.
Fringe Curtains
First, let’s talk about these fringe streamer curtains that I placed right above the table. I have wanted to try this for a while, and now I am hooked! They are very simple but make a huge statement. Here are the detailed instructions.
Twisting Balloons
I went a bit crazy with twisting balloons because I found working with them super fun. Let me break it down.
Start by making a simple balloon letter message using long twisting balloons. The longer your words are the harder it will be to keep them the same size, so keep it short and simple.
Next, decorate around the letters with “egg-shaped” balloons and balloon carrots.
While you are at it, make balloon tulip flowers to give out to your guest as party favors. These can be made a day or two in advance. Tie them in a bunch or give them out individually. Here is the best tutorial I found for making them.
Table
With all the color coming from the balloons and streamers, you can keep the table decor simple.
The main table has; small scalloped plates, floral pattern napkins, wooden utensils, and paper straws. Place the floral napkins under the plates to make it look like flowers and leaves. Add finishing touches like this cute bunny and small balloons.
Or, if your table is wide enough use 5-inch balloons and a balloon decorating strip to make a balloon garland.
To make things easier use an electric balloon pump to inflate the balloons, they might be small, but your arms will get super tired if you try to do them all with a manual pump.
Attach all the balloons to the decorating strip. Make sure to insert them on the same side otherwise your deco strip won’t be able to lay flat on your table. Then, use tape to secure the garland to your table.
Chairs
Finally, to decorate the chairs, trace bunny ears into cardstock paper. Use the color that best matches your chairs. Here are the templates to make them;
Don’t stop there, add bunny tails by making large pom poms. To make them use this handy gadget here. Lastly, attach all your details with glue dots.
