DIY Colorful Christmas Ornament Placemats
Brighten up your holiday table with these colorful Christmas ornament placemats. This DIY is easy, quick, and fun to make.
This year has been all about canceling parties, but my crafty heart still needs to decorate. Our holiday and birthday breakfast table settings have given me an outlet to be creative.
Our kids have also benefited from the decorating. It has been disappointing telling them over and over that we won’t be able to see our family and friends for any parties this year, but it’s fun to see them smile when they see a festive table for breakfast.
Christmas Ornament Placemats
Materials
- Cricut
- Design Template
- Cardstock 12×12 – use neutral colors or colorful.
- Elmer’s Craft Bond Tacky Glue
Instructions
- Use this link to view the template. The project will open, and all you need to do is click on the make it button.
- Choose the color of your ornaments and pick a contrasting color for the ornament hook. Set the printer dial to Cardstock and place your paper on the adhesive cutting mat. Follow the directions on the Cricut website.
- Once you make all the cuts, add some glue to the ornament hook’s edge and glue it to the giant circle.
- That is all!
Have fun decorating your holiday table with these ornament placemats. They are big enough to fit a small plate or a regular dinner plate. Let the kids draw on them or leave a message for them.
