Here are some fun Christmas learning activities for your little one(s). Use the printable pages to practice math, patterns, and memory games.

The last school weeks in December can be rough. Getting a little taste of vacation on Thanksgiving leaves us wanting more off time.

To keep my little ones interested, I put together a few Christmas Learning Activities to make the home-school experience festive and fun.

Feeding Puppets

I found these cute Christmas puppets on Etsy. The set comes with a Santa, an elf, a reindeer, a penguin, and a snowman. These little guys are going to help me with math. Use the food pieces to put together simple equations and then feed the characters to find out the answers.

Materials

• Download Christmas Puppets. (Optional)
• Download Christmas Food Game PDF (Free)
• White Cardstock
• Paper Punch
• Scissors
• Muslin Bag
• String
• Hole Punch

Instructions

1. Print and assemble the puppets.
2. Next, print the Christmas Learning Cards PDF on white cardstock.
3. Use a paper punch to cut all the images, numbers, and equation symbols.
4. Finally, Decorate a small muslin bag with ribbon and a gift tag. Use the gift tags provided to give this game as a present.
5. Now it’s time to Play!

Learning Patterns

If you choose not to get the puppets, then you can still use the game cards.

As I was cutting the food pieces, it occurred to me that we can also use them to learn patterns. Yay!

Memory Game

Last but not least is the memory game. I added extra images to the set to make sure we could play a fun memory game. Use cardstock; otherwise, you will be able to see the images.

Educational toys

Below I put together a list of educational toys. Our kids are taking online lessons at the moment. I understand that it’s hard to sit in front of a computer for a long time. With that in mind, I supplement the video lessons with motor skill activities that are fun.
