Free Printable to Decorate Treat Cups and Mini Pumpkins
This year we decided to skip the trick-or-treating, but we are not going to pass on the fun of celebrating Halloween here at home. I made these Halloween treat cups for the kids in my family and for our neighbors. Inside I put small jars filled with washable paint, googly eyes, a mini pumpkin, and some candy.
Kids like decorating pumpkins and eating candy, so these treat cups capture two of the favorite things about Halloween. Here is the free printable to decorate your own.
Each template includes spooky shapes to decorate the Halloween treat cups and the mini pumpkins. There are a few options per sheet to decorate the pumpkins. Although the little jars don’t look like much, I promise there is enough paint to cover a pumpkin.
I recommend using the ghost page for kids under 3. Don’t include any googly eyes in this cup to avoid any choking hazard. Also, little kids might need some help cutting the stickers out. You can do it for them ahead of time or just let the parent know that they’ll be doing crafts. I also didn’t include any paintbrushes here. Most people have them at home, and I figured the kids would appreciate more candy instead.

Halloween Treat Cups
- Download the Halloween treat cup template
- Print the whole page on sticker labels.
- Cut out the shapes on the top portion of the paper
- Use glue dots to adhere the spooky shapes to the outside of the treat cup. I like the 3D look you get from using the glue dots. If you printed on sticker paper, then you can also stick the shapes right on the cup.
- Cut out the Happy Halloween label and stick it on the lid.
- Fill small jars with washable paint. I used white paint for the ghost. Green, black, and white for the Witch and cat. Black, white, and red for the bat and vampire page.
- Include a pair of googly eyes. The ghost template is meant for little kids, so don’t add any googly eyes for this treat cup.
- Place a mini pumpkin inside and fill the rest of the space with candy.
