These firecracker party favors for 4th of July are tall enough to fit sparklers and glow sticks for the kids plus, wide enough for a couple of confetti poppers or party favors.
The goal with these party favors is that I can pass all the kid’s sparklers, glow stick bracelets, and party favors at the same time in a cute package.
These party favors are super easy to make and very inexpensive, especially if you are planning to give them to a large group of kids.
First, roll the white cardstock into a tight roll, and place one muffin liner on one end and slowly release the cardstock, so it fits the diameter of the inside of the muffin liner. Use tape to secure the cardstock.
Then, apply craft glue to one end of the roll and glue the muffin liner on it; this will be the bottom of the firecracker.
Now, fill the tube with the fillers of your choice.
Next, use the craft knife to make a small incision to the center of another muffin liner. Cut a 4-5-inch piece of craft cord and make a knot on one end. Then, insert it through the small cut. Once again, glue the cupcake wrapper to the other end.
Finally, wrap the tube with the scrapbook paper design of your choice. I found mine at Hobby Lobby, but you can easily find more designs to print at home on Etsy.
Done!
Lastly, If you are adding fireworks to the favors, make sure to tell the parents or even pass them out to the parents directly, I don’t want anyone to get hurt.
