Valentine’s Day is almost here. I know many dislike this holiday, but now more than ever, people need to be reminded that they are loved. So, I created these Valentine’s door hangers. You can print, cut, and hang them at the doors of the special people in your life.

Valentine’s Door Hangers

This craft is very easy. All you need to do is download the PDF, print on cardstock, cut, glue together, and fill. If you own a sewing machine, you can sew the edges together, this will give the hanger a different look, but tacky glue will work just fine.

Materials

  1. Download PDF
  2. White Cardstock
  3. Tacky glue
  4. Scissors
  5. Gift (see ideas below)

Instructions

  1. Download PDF.
  2. Print on white cardstock.
  3. Cut front and back pieces.
  4. Put tacky glue on the back of the smaller piece of paper (the backside). Then, place the larger piece (the door hanger piece) on top. Align as best as you can. Once the glue is dry, cut any uneven edges.
  5. That is all! Once the glue is completely dry, fill the little pocket with something special, like a love note, picture, candy, flowers, or a small gift.

This past year was hard, and we have been forced to isolate ourselves from family, friends, and neighbors. These little Valentine’s door hangers are perfect because you can hang them on their door, ring the bell and run. LOL Below are some gift ideas that will fit in the little pocket. I should point out, the camera will not fit in the door hanger’s pocket, but the little Fuji film pictures will. If you put some flowers in the pocket, make sure to dry the stems or place them in a water tube. Distribute the flowers evenly so that the door hanger is centered on the door. Finally, If you are gifting smaller items, like jewelry, charms, or a gift card, make sure you wrap them in tissue paper. This will make it easier to spot and take out.
I hope you find this quick craft useful. Visit the Valentine’s page for more ideas.
